Webphone

Our WebRTC Webphone is a professional, browser-based calling solution that allows you to place and receive calls directly from your desktop. There is no software to install and no manual SIP configuration required—if you have a browser and an internet connection, you have a fully functional phone.

Why use the Webphone?

  • Zero Configuration: Skip the manual SIP setup. The Webphone automatically provisions itself the moment you launch it.
  • Standalone Flexibility: The Webphone opens in a dedicated, independent window. You can close the didlogic portal tab or navigate away, and your phone will stay active until you manually log out or close the Webphone window.
  • Unified Experience: The interface is an exact mirror of our mobile app. Your contacts, call history, and account balance sync instantly across all devices.

Key Capabilities

  • Outbound Calling: Place calls using any of your purchased DIDs as the Caller ID.
  • Inbound Ready: Receive calls directly in your browser. To enable this, simply go to Number Destinations and select Webphone as the destination for your DID.
  • Real-Time Sync: Add a contact on your desktop, and it appears on your mobile app immediately.
  • Balance Tracking: Always see your available credit at a glance within the Webphone.

Technical Setup & Security

To provide a "one-click" experience, our system automatically creates a secure, dedicated technical SIP account for your WebRTC sessions. This happens behind the scenes the first time you open the dialer.

This account is dedicated exclusively to the Webphone to ensure the highest audio quality and security for browser-based calling. You do not need to manage or enter these credentials manually.

Compatibility & Requirements

  • Supported Browsers: The Webphone is optimized for all Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave) and Safari.
  • Microphone Access: For the Webphone to initiate or receive calls, your browser must have permission to access your microphone. If permissions are missing, the Webphone will display a prompt to grant access. You cannot place calls until this is enabled.
  • Persistence: Your session remains active as long as the window is open. It will not expire until you Logout.
